Thanks to everyone who came out last night

Last night’s first meeting for the North Pigeon Lake Area Structure Plan was a great success.  Nearly 100 people came to Thorsby Hall to become involved in launching this plan.  The event was organized as a workshop with activities designed to allow participants to share with the group their thoughts and ideas in a comfortable small-group setting.  We will be posting the results of the meeting to the site shortly.

By week’s end, the County will be sending out an invitation to all landowners for our second meeting, also in Thorsby, on June 18th (6:30pm – 9:30pm).  There is an open invitation in the Pipestone Flyer which will run for three weeks.  We look forward to seeing you then.  In the meantime, please feel free to comment on any of our blog posts, send in pictures and other documents, call us, or send us an email with your additional thoughts.  Thank you!

First Pigeon Lake Meeting Tonight

As we gear up our Pigeon Lake Area Structure Planning process, I find myself excited to meet and engage with our stakeholders and the public at our first meeting tonight.  Coffee and doughnuts are on us, and we’ll bring along some bottled water for all of us non-coffee drinkers.

Just to let everyone know, we will be taking some pictures at the meeting to document the event.  Some of those pictures will be posted here to this website.  As well, we will ask people to sign in at the front entrance so that we may be able to contact you with updates and new information in the coming weeks and months.

Look forward to seeing you there!  – Tom
